New Cancer Center Focal Point as Highpoint Health Foundation Launches Capital Campaign

The Highpoint Health Foundation officially launched its Hearing, Helping, Healing Capital Campaign at an introductory dinner held on January 24 at the Lawrenceburg Event Center. Highlighting the evening was an announcement from the City of Lawrenceburg that it has pledged 5 million dollars to the fund drive, whose focal point is the construction of a new state-of-the-art cancer center in Dearborn County.

When her aunt, Norma Lee Heeke, became very ill, Chari McGill and her family brought her to the Emergency Department of Highpoint Health. The nurse who took care of Mrs. Heeke was Sarah Britz, RN, Highpoint Health Emergency Department Nurse, a resident of Bright.
