Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's Degree preferred. An interest in, and aptitude for, technology is required. Previous experience in information technology preferred. Minimum of two years office experience required. Accurate keyboarding/word processing skills and a working knowledge of computers required, as well as knowledge and skill in Word and Excel or other spreadsheet software; database experience helpful. Ability to take accurate notes. Must possess office operational and organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, general overall knowledge of various office machines/equipment, and good communication skills.
Description
Performs a wide range of activities to ensure end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, and documenting end-user help requests and escalating incidents when considered appropriate and necessary to maintain SLA expectations. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools. Provides general support functions to the department head in order to ensure efficient utilization of time.
