Registered Occupational Therapist with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy after successful completion of national registry exam. Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Indiana. Must have a valid driver's license.
COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant required, Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Indiana and valid driver's license required.
Responsible for evaluating, planning and implementing treatment programs for patients of the Occupational Therapy Department. Treatment settings include Acute Care, Home Health, and Outpatient. This is done in accordance with the goals and philosophy of Highpoint Health and in compliance with appropriate federal, state and local regulatory/accrediting agencies. Maintains daily departmental functions according to department policies and procedures.
COTA - The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (C.O.T.A.) treats Occupational Therapy patients in a variety of treatment settings, including Acute Care, Outpatient, and Home Health & Hospice. The C.O.T.A. will coordinate treatment with the Occupational Therapist (O.T.) in order to provide quality patient care and contribute to the goals and philosophy of Highpoint Health. These elements are not all inclusive.
