Occupational Health Medical Assistant
Part-Time, 40 hrs. per 2 week pay period
High School Diploma or GED required. Certified Medical Assistant or Indiana Licensed LPN required. Good computer skills required. Knowledge of general office/clinic practices helpful. Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills.
As a member of Nursing Service this position has the following areas of focus: (1) Assists with Employee Health activities to maintain and/or improve DCH employee health, safety and well-being. (2) Assists with Occupational Health services and programs for community employers. (3) Meets additional department policies and procedures performance criteria. (4) Meets hospital-wide performance criteria. All areas of focus are under the direction of the Occupational Health Physician and Registered Nurses in the Occupational Health and Wellness Center. These elements are not all inclusive.
