Full-Time, 80 hrs. per 2 week pay period
Days, including every other weekend.
High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Driver's License required. Previous law enforcement or security experience, preferably in a hospital, required. Previous supervisory/lead experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills. Must be able to write concise and accurate reports. Situational Awareness Training, De-escalation Training, Active Shooter/Active Shooter Response training are a plus.
Plans, organizes, directs, monitors and coordinates the operation of the Security Department to contribute to meeting the mission, goals, and values of Highpoint Health, as well as to meet the requirements of HFAP and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies. Actively contributes to safety management programs; in particular - security, life safety, and emergency preparedness. Patrols hospital grounds, reporting any unusual conditions and occurrences found; takes appropriate action to safeguard patients, personnel and property.
